“UX of the Living Dead: The Myth of the Zombie User” by Mike Hanna World Usability Congress 2025

We’re excited to share that we presented “UX of the Living Dead: The Myth of the Zombie User” at the reXrules event during the World Usability Congress 2025 in Graz, Austria.
Our session explored how Living UX grows from understanding real human psychology—how people think, decide, and act under pressure.
By using research-based insights into user behaviour and stress, we can design experiences that are alive, responsive, and safe. As we emphasized in our talk, users aren’t mindless zombies—and our UX should never treat them that way.
